Museums
Centennial Heritage Museum
This cultural and natural history center features hands-on programs to educate the public about the Orange County area’s rich heritage.  Several acres of the museum’s property have been preserved as a nature park open to the public from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday – Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday.

Orange County Museum of Art
Admire a variety of historical and contemporary art at this Orange County Museum.
Open 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday and 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Old Courthouse Museum
The landmark Old Orange County Courthouse is Southern California's oldest court building, dedicated in 1901.  Today the 30,000 square-foot building contains the Orange County History Center, which includes the Old Courthouse Museum, the Orange County Archives, and the library of the Pacific Coast Archaeological Society. 
Open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Pretend City Children’s Museum
Expand your child’s imagination at Irvine’s Pretend City Children’s Museum, designed as a small city with a grocery store, construction site, art studio, house, caf&eactute;, bank, emergency services, health center and farm. 

The Irvine Museum
This museum was designed to educate the public about the Irvine, California area.  Unfortunately, the museum is closed indefinitely due to severe flooding as of June 14, 2007.

Newport Sports Museum
This sports memorabilia and educational center in Newport Beach is dedicated to preserving the history of sport.
Open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday – Sunday.

Newport Harbor Nautical Museum
This Newport Beach museum focuses on maritime culture and heritage.  Visitors can enjoy interactive exhibits, programs and events in the heart of Balboa Peninsula’s Fun Zone.
Open daily 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
